Blur with a focus point
Keep one spot of your mockup sharp and blur the rest for depth. Place the focus, drag it onto your subject and raise the blur.
Find Blur in Effects
With your mockup open in Static, look at the Effects section in the right panel. Blur is the first row, with a number field and a target icon at its right end. Everything is sharp while Blur is 0.
Place the focus
Click the target icon at the right end of the Blur row. A ring with a center dot and a handle appears on the picture, and Blur is set to 30. The picture stays sharp inside the ring.
Drag the focus onto your subject
Drag the center dot to the part you want sharp. Here it goes onto the flame.
Resize the sharp area
Drag the handle on the right edge of the ring toward the center to make the sharp area smaller.
Raise the blur
Click the number field next to Blur, type 120 and press Enter. The leaf, the label and the table soften, while the flame inside the ring stays sharp.
