A folding phone stands on a light blue backdrop. In Change color, click the CFDADC swatch.
The color picker opens. Click the menu at its top, which reads Solid, and choose Linear.
A line with a handle at each end appears across the canvas, and a gradient bar appears in the picker.
Click the stop at the right end of the bar and set it to E8956A. The backdrop turns into a blue to orange gradient.
Drag the right handle on the canvas down. The gradient turns with it.
Open Change color
With your mockup open in Static, look at the Change color section in the right panel. Each row is a color you can edit. Here the background is a solid color.
Open the fill menu
Click the swatch to open the color picker. Then click the menu at the top of the picker, which reads Solid. It lists Solid, Linear and Radial.
Choose Linear
Select Linear. A line with a handle at each end appears on the canvas, and a gradient bar appears in the picker.
Set the end color
Click the stop at the right end of the gradient bar, then type a hex color in the hex field and press Enter. The gradient updates right away. Click the stop at the left end to change the first color.
Drag a handle on the canvas
Drag the handle at the end of the line to turn and stretch the gradient. Move it closer to the other handle for a shorter, harder blend.
